Rants of unstable individuals

It had potential...

Yesterday that is,
Since I know you're all up on my work week, Thursday is usually my Friday due to the fact I work Sunday through Thursday.. But alas here I sit on a O' so nice Friday morning.. in a freaken shack. This is goanna be the death of me I swear.

Last night was uneventful in large amounts, I drove home stopped at the store on the way and picked up some beer, the incredible (I went to school for animation, back off), and went home to cook up some brauts on the grill.

I had to go to the store and get some beer worthy of celebrating the splendor that was St. Patrick's Day, and what better beer to get then Guinness. We keep Coors in the fridge, it's the stander beer for everyday use around here..
Knowing I had to wake up at 4:20 the next morning my limit was rather low. So I opened one and poured it into the wonderful pilsner glasses that I bought when I was into socking my "at home bar." When you live a good 25 minutes from the nearest bar, you better have a backup plan for boozen it up.. my plan was, if you can't go to the bar, bring the bar to you. All things considered it works just fine.
So I made a little pasta, with a light tomato sauce on it, some brauts on the grill and had toast to the great people who brought you all things green, dark beers, and lucky charms (maybe not the last one).

C__ got home right about when everything was finishing up, so we had a little bit to eat, I poured my second Guinness and we went to play a little PS2, it sounds kinda funny I know, but it make for a good outlet, we talked, and laughed, had a genuinely good time. After that we took the dogs out fir a little walk for about 30 minutes and talked more, about lots of stuff, more than I think we've talking in months. By then it was about 9:30, since I have to get up so early I think of everything compared to hours of sleep remaining so by now I was at just under the seven hour mark. So we headed upstairs and took the movie I had bought to fall asleep to.. Not the best of ideas we have had, it turned out to be a good movie, so I didn't fall asleep until some time after 11:30 or under 5 hours of sleep. Buzzzz 4:20am my eye's feel heavy and I hit the snooze *black out period* Buzzz 4:30. Snooze one more time? Sounds good to me, I can get ready in like ten minutes or less.

(Background story)
I don't know how many of you have a dog in you home.. But ours are treated as good as any human could hope for. They can be on the sofa's with us, they eat when we eat, and sissy (our Boarder Collie) sleeps at C__'s feet every night. Challula (Lab and Rottie mix) is another story. She likes her space while sleeping in the first part of the night she'll sleep under the window. But around 3am every mourning she jumps up into the bed and lays down between C__ and I, we're used to it so it's no big thing.

Anyway back to the point, I had made my choice to stay in bed another ten minutes, apparently Challula had different plans, she normally take my spot when I get up, well today she wasn't in the mood for waiting around. She jumped up between C__ and me, laid down and pushed with all four feet until I was about to fall of the bed. That's right my dog kicked me out of bed this morning. Great way to wake up on your Saturday morning.

Has anyone else out there ever been scheduled for Over Time without being asked? That's why I'm here today, I was scheduled, but never asked, there were just like, "Here you go you have OT this day." O' well it's time and a half, and all I would have been doing was sleeping the first part away anyway, right?
