New and exciting in the life of me..

More funny for my money.
So I went to get a small home equity loan yesterday, just get rid if all those little bill with big interest rates and take care of a few other little things we just can't seem to get paid for lately.
I figured it shouldn't be to much of a problem, since out house is selling for about 60k more than we bought it for and I only wanted a few grand to take care of everything.
Bzzzz wrong.. Apparently I don't have all it takes to get a home equity loan.. I have a home, it has equity.. what's the problem.

But on the other hand they will give me a signature loan that's a bit smaller at a bit higher interest rate.. This I don't get at all, see if they're willing to just give me a loan because I say I'm going to pay it back rather that giving me one where I front my house for the funds, how is that safer from a lending stand point?

Grandma Bread the aftermath
Grandma bread day was great, even though I didn't learn directly from her, it was an honor all the same.. We started at about noon and didn't finish until about 5 that evening. We made three loafs of bread, a pan of dinner rolls and a pan of "sweet rolls" (cinnamon rolls). All by hand no mixers no kitchen aids, nothing but a whisk and a wooden spoon. It was just as I remembered all full of that fresh bread smell, best still warm with just a little strawberry jam.
It was really a good day.

Another roommate?
Anyone who reads this knows that recently we had C__'s mom move in with us for a bit while she gets sht straightened out in her life. But it get better, at the moment I feel like the days of our life's them should be going in the background of my life.

See if you can fallow this..
C__ mom's ex husband, not C__'s "real" dad will be coming to stay for a few day/ weeks who knows because he was kicked out of his current living situation with this other lady he was living with. Any way he was living there for a place to put his horses and fix into a property to sell, she wanted more, he didn't, she kicked him out on the spot.

So now it's going to be C__, her mom, her ex- step dad, and myself, for a bit..
It's not like we don't have the room for one more person to come into the house, or anything there's still ample room in the downstairs office.. I guess, from what I hear he should only be living with us for about a week, if it happens.
